The sculpture is manufactured from 2mm thick Corten steel. The product will rust naturally when exposed to the outdoor elements, resulting in a rich orange/red colour.

I bought the bilby, kookaburra, koala and wombat from RustedMetalGardenArt. They are all gorgeous, but to my surprise the bilby is my favourite. The detail is amazing and it’s incredibly cute. I now also have plans to purchase the echidna and kangaroo with joey haha.

Looking fantastic on top of a small hollow wood off cut which raises it off the ground which is essential. If there was a larger version that would make it stand out even more against the background so its able to be appreciated even more.
